Applebees

As most of the companys do, Applebees tries to put there best forward in their ads, and they usually

look a lot better that the real thing! This shows a hyperbole in advertisment. Hyperbole ads amplify the truth to make things look better than they really are.

Employees

Are usually portraid as happy, caring people who produce the best food possible. Sometimes this is true, but

it is not always the case. This shows a big lie advertisment. It says that if you take this job, you will be happy, and

succesful. That is what the big lie advertisments want you to think.

The Real Thing

This is how Applebees food really looks in some circumstances. It does not show any specific advertisment

techniques because It isn't an advertisment. It was probably made by someone who wants to discourage eating fast food.

 Logos

This advertisment shows the symbols advertising technique. Most people associate the apple with Applebees,

so this can appeal to their interests. The symbols technique only works when the certain symbol is in all advertisments.

This is what Applebees does, so people recognise their symbol.
