Media Literacy- Media Literacy is kind of how companies sell things. They create ad's for their products.

This ad is using the "Testimonial" technique. It is attractive because a lot of people like garfield. He is a very popular cartoon character.

They use this NBA star to advertise it because he (Tracy McGrady) is a very talented basketball player. If you are a big Houston Rockets fan, than you might be even more likely to purchase this. This is the same with these following ad's-

This ad is also using the "Testimonial" technique. It is attractive because one, the simpsons are pretty awesome, and two, matrix is pretty cool too. If you combine them, then you will have a masterpeice ad.

This ad uses the "Beatiful People" Technique. Jessica Simpson is a very popular singer, actor, and model. The proactiv company probably used her for this ad because Jessica Simpson is already a good model.
