Testimonial Or Plain Folks

 

 

 

 

 

 

     A testimonial is when a company who is advertising something pays a big celebrity or a sports hero a large sum of money to endorse their product in a completely positive way such as: "I (state your name), know that you need alot of energy to play professional sports. This grape (something)-ade, will pack you full of electrolytes and sugars. This sport's drink will keep you fueled, and able to make the winning goal." This is what would probably be said by a soccer player endorsing a certain sports drink.

 

     A plain folk's advertisement is when you have somebody endorse it, but rather you just ask the average joe on the street. We won't have one of these in this web page, but we do have some Testimonials. An example is if you are advertising a certain cleaning product, you would pay people to use the product and even if it didn't work, you would still pay them money, so they would say that it works really well. " Wow, this product really works! It helps me clean all of my dishes for the whole family and our relatives, so we can be ready to eat during the holidays!"

sprite for a sprite ad. He is payed a lot of money by the

advertising people  to drink this because it makes people

who are looking at this ad say  "Hey, my favorite

basketball player is drinking Sprite! This somehow makes

me thirsty for some Sprite! I'll bet that he drinks Sprite

because he likes it! If my favorite basketball player likes

to drink Sprite, then maybe I should drink it a lot more!"

Thus having their sports star drink something, the people

suddenly find an urge to go out and drink some Sprite.
